Hi! This is the no sweat video team!
Due to a large number of requests, we are going to sell our staves on this website!
Knowing the kind of tricks we wanted to work on, we had to look for good materials for years, and we broke many many many of our previous staves.
Those available here are similar to the ones that we use now, the ones we use in the no sweat video.
There are two different staves actually.
The first one we call it the « Acrostaff Classic » ; it bends when you put your weight on it. It doesn’t break though. HOWEVER, it is not absolutely unbreakable. The four of us have one of those each. In two years time, Jon broke his once, doing a trick maybe a bit too violent. You can see on the video what we do with them, it is extremely solid, but unfortunately we do not guarantee it will never break, some tricks are just extremely violent, you never know!
It still is an excellent staff and we use it to practice and perform all our tricks!
The second one we call it « Acrostaff Evolution ». It is more solid than the Classic, and doesn’t bend at all. We found it more recently, and had to deal with extremely high tech factories that created this product for us. The reason we don’t use only this one is that it is extremely expensive. We have one like this and a few Classics!
As an example, I wouldn’t recommend Kev’s last move on the video (5:08) with a Classic. Everything else on the video we believe can be done with Classics, but for some of the stuff we now have in mind we use this one, just to be sure!
